Seung Mo Park, a South Korean artist, predominantly works with metal. He’s done some amazing bits and bobs in his time and these portraits made from wire mesh truly are incredible. Seung Mo Park was born in Yangpyeong in 1969 and has been displaying his artistic wares far and wide since the 90’s.
These sculptures he’s produced using wire mesh are called Maya and they are – in my humble opinion – frikka-frikka-fresh (you wouldn’t get this sort of thoughtful critique on most art websites would you?) The work is innovative, and it’s executed better than you could shake a ballpark at. With bells on.
