Older People Looking Cool In Omsk, Siberia
I came across a photo collection the other day showcasing the fashion sense of the citizens of Omsk, Russia. There were loads and loads of pictures of young attractive people looking “cool”. I wasn’t particularly interested in the fashionistas, I live in Brighton after all. But amongst the standard issue, perfume advert, club hags there were some pictures of older folk who, to my eyes, looked much cooler. They’re not dressed to the nines, but they just have a touch of snazz and sass.
Omsk is a large Russian city in Siberia, it’s Russia’s seventh largest by population – about 1.5 million. In general, Omsk is regarded as a fashionable place to live; the people are considered on point with their clothing vibes and it seems, the oldies are not being left behind.
One sad thing to note about Omsk’s geographic position is that it is about as far from the sea as it is possible to get on earth:
