Brighton Council House Painted Up Like A Renaissance Car Accident
Anyone who’s been to Brighton will know that it’s full of art and artists. On that note, Robert Burns, a self taught artist, has covered the interior of his drab 60s council house with Renaissance paintings.
The place now looks wonderfully unusual. It would seem a little more “normal” if the house was a stately mansion, but these huge pictures — including Russel Brand as Jesus and a remake of the Sistine chapel — make the place almost intimidating.
At least it’s not boring, though. Here’s to the dreamers.
